apparently this is called thumb hyperextension.




i have no idea what this means. and my fingers have always been bent like that (first picture)


oh and i can also do this.


but can't get a picture of me doing it at the moment.
its called 'upper limb hypermobility'

(My fingers bend like that too. Be careful, my little finger has taken to dislocating and it didn't take much for it to happen the first time)

OK. I looked through there, and there is a lot (ALOT) more things that i say what i also can do. stuff with my toes being super flexible. ankles going out and being really flexible. more finger things. skin being stretchy in certain spots. My knees going in too much or whatever thats called when you stand with your legs straight and the bend back.
What I think is so frustrating to me, is that we were really close for years with a family who all had EDS. And I never thought to put two and two together. Mostly I think, because I was a dancer for years, I just equated things I could do that other people could not to being really flexible, and that was considered a good thing.

Until I looked through the album, I didn't realise that my range of movement wasn't normal either. It's funny, it's just my normal.
